Terms of Service

Last updated: July 19, 2026

The short version: use the Service to create and send real, accurate receipts for your own business; you own your data; print credits are a pay-as-you-go balance, not a subscription, and aren't refundable except where the law requires it or we've made a mistake; and we can't guarantee every printer or device will pair over Bluetooth. Read on for the full terms.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and ElabbsTech ("ElabbsTech," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of Thermal Receipt Printer (the "Service"), available at treceiptmaker.com. By accessing or using the Service — including in guest mode, without an account — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. The service

Thermal Receipt Printer lets service businesses build, print, and email receipts, invoices, and related documents from a form that adapts to different business types, connect to thermal printers over Bluetooth or USB, and keep a history of transactions with basic analytics. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Service.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You may use the Service in guest mode without creating an account, in which case your data stays local to your device (see our Privacy Policy). To sync your data across devices, buy print credits, or use email delivery, you'll need to create an account with a valid email address.

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away at info@treceiptmaker.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Print credits and payment

New accounts start with a number of free print credits, as shown in the app at signup. Using "Print" or "Email Receipt" from the New Receipt screen consumes one credit; reprinting or re-emailing a receipt already saved in your History is free. We may change the free-credit amount or the actions that consume a credit going forward, with the current terms always reflected in the app itself.

You can buy additional credits through Paystack-hosted checkout pages. Credits are a pay-as-you-go balance tied to your account, not a recurring subscription — there's no auto-renewal to cancel. Credits have no cash value, aren't transferable to another account, and aren't redeemable for money. Purchases are generally final; we don't offer refunds except where required by applicable law, or where we determine, at our discretion, that a technical failure on our part prevented you from receiving credits you paid for.

If a payment is made using an email address that doesn't match your signed-in account, the credits are applied to whichever account matches the email used at checkout — double check the email field before paying.

5. Your content

You own the business information, item catalog, and receipts you create in the Service ("Your Content"). We store it in order to provide the Service to you — that's the only reason we hold onto it. You're solely responsible for the accuracy of Your Content, including amounts, taxes, and any information about your own customers that you choose to enter — the Service is a tool for producing documents you create; it doesn't verify or guarantee their accuracy.

By using the Service, you confirm that Your Content doesn't violate any law or any third party's rights, and that you have the right to include any customer information you choose to put on a receipt.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to create fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal receipts or invoices;
  • Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  • Attempt to abuse, exploit, or circumvent the free-credit or referral system;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where the law gives you the right to do so;
  • Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful information about a third party.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

7. Third-party services and hardware

The Service connects to third-party infrastructure (including Supabase, Paystack, and Resend) and to your own thermal printer hardware over Bluetooth, USB, or your device's native print system. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, the availability or performance of these third parties, or whether a particular printer or device supports the connection method the Service uses. If your printer doesn't pair or print correctly, that's typically a hardware/driver compatibility issue outside our control, though we're happy to help troubleshoot via support.

8. Our intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, branding, and underlying code — is owned by ElabbsTech and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own business purposes, subject to these Terms. This license doesn't give you any right to copy, resell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Service itself.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every printer, browser, or device, or that any defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ElabbsTech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for print credits in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars (US$50).

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold ElabbsTech harmless from any claim, liability, damages, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. You can delete individual receipts or clear your history yourself in the app, and you can request full account deletion by emailing info@treceiptmaker.com.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to us or other users, or if required to by law. Where practical, we'll try to give you notice first.

13. Changes to the service or these terms

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change to these Terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where practical, let you know in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, regardless of where you access the Service from. If a dispute arises, we'd genuinely rather sort it out directly — please contact us first at info@treceiptmaker.com so we can try to resolve it informally before any formal proceeding.

15. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and ElabbsTech regarding the Service. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
